The Night is Almost Over: On Emerging from Difficult Transitions

The “Night Sea Journey” of the sun as it descends overnight to re-emerge in the east is an ancient metaphor for our journey into the depths of the unconscious as we face difficult issues, emerging renewed, “reborn”, once the Night is over.

According to astrology, the past fifteen years have provided such a journey around how we “put ourselves out there” in the world. This can relate to a major shift in career, financial circumstances, relationships, and our general footing in life. November 19th, 2024, should bring a sense of relief as Pluto exists Capricorn, but until then, our ego will resist attempts to truly let go of past issues we have been working through during this time.

This video explores the major ego ploys to keep us stuck in the past, along with describing a helpful Jungian metaphor for gaining a panoramic view of what is going on. As always, these insights are explored within the framework of principles from “A Course in Miracles”.
