A Course in Miracles emphasises the power of our wanting. Ultimately, what keeps us bound to the poor self-concept associated with the ego and its thought system of separation is our desire to be “right rather than happy”.
This video explores the gifts available to us as Venus, the planet of desire, moves retrograde March 1st until April 12th. This is a time when we’re presented with opportunities to reflect on past hurts strongly associated with our self-concept around love and money, approval and power. We don’t need to go digging for these memories — they will resurface with some outer trigger; a “blast from the past”, or some challenging scenario. Venus retrograde will do her thing.
Though retrograde periods are difficult due to their cleansing nature, they encourage us to re-assess self-beliefs that aren’t serving us. We can reset, then move forward with a sense of buoyancy as we no longer take the self we think we are so seriously and gain greater connection with the Self that is Now.
