The Body and Loneliness

Central to any non-dual spiritual system is the belief that our true, spiritual Self has nothing to do with the body: “We” are not contained within a body, nor limited by it. However, this isn’t our day-to-day experience.

This video explores what it means to say we are not a body, based on principles from A Course in Miracles. It explores the link between body-identification and loneliness, and our unconscious drive to maintain the loneliness we consciously seek to get rid of.

The final section of the video discusses the themes of the last three Workbook reviews, situating the idea that we are not a body as one of three overarching premises of the Course.
