Throughout history, societies have established rights for their citizens. This process involves significant debate and conflict, with the concerns of different segments of society appearing to clash. Even when a set of rights have been agreed upon, there is no guarantee that they will be adhered to over time, or that they won’t be altered or abolished entirely. In contrast, the rights guaranteed for us by God are always available, consistent, and shared.
Focusing on workbook lessons 101 and 104 from A Course in Miracles, this video explores what these inviolable rights are and how we can experience them. Through the healing power of the miracle, which acknowledges our shared essential need, we can accept our God-given rights, enabling us to be truly helpful if we pursue the restitution (or establishment) of rights within the world.
