A Course in Miracles shares aspects of Eastern philosophies because of its nondualistic — ‘We are at home in Oneness’ — metaphysics, and its emphasis on the world as a place of opposites and opposition. Rising above the experience of opposition is, therefore, a common aim.
This podcast explores such similarities between Buddhism and the Course, pointing out where they differ. In particular, the Buddhist practice of mindfulness is compared with the Course’s forgiveness process. It includes a reading of the essay ‘Mindfulness and Forgiveness,’ from Reflections on ‘A Course in Miracles’: Volume Three, by Stephanie Panayi.
