Lost and Found

“A Course in Miracles” tells us that our ceaseless searching for ‘a place to call home’ is futile if we focus on the outer world as the source of ultimate comfort.

This podcast addresses this idea with a reading of the essay ‘Helpless,’ which uses three paintings as a framework to discuss the root of feeling (to borrow from psychoanalyst Karen Horney) ‘lost and alone in a hostile world.’ It concludes with a discussion of Workbook Lesson 189, highlighting how releasing judgement paves the way for an experience of homecoming.
