The Ego as Portrait Artist

Inspired by Patrick White's novel "The Vivisector", this video likens the ego to a portrait artist hungry to perceive and amplify the flaws and weaknesses of others, insisting that they represent reality. Using passages from "A Course in Miracles" and Carl Jung's memoir "Memories, Dreams, Reflections", the ego's need to create such pictures is exposed, along with the portraits of Truth they obscure.
